Here’s a unique location in the Lake Park area, just south of North Palm Beach. The Brewhouse Gallery is a space combining an art gallery, coffeehouse and craft brew bar all in one. There seems to be something at this location for everyone; high art, great brew and endless events.
Starting today, Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park is offering tours of the brewery every Thursday night at 7pm. This is in addition to their Saturday and Sunday tours! $5 per person includes a 45-minute tour of the brewery and their new expansion, samples of 4 different beers and a pint glass to take home. To sign up for the new tour, they ask that you show up prior to 7pm and ask any server or bartender.

We stopped by Copper Blues, the newest bar and restaurant to be opening at City Place in West Palm Beach. They’ll be quietly holding a soft-open tomorrow night (Wednesday, May 7th) and plan on their hard open for this weekend to meet the demands of the large crowds. We stopped by during their last day of construction to see how things were shaping up. We weren’t left disappointed.
Just shy of its second birthday (they opened on May 10, 2012 – and they will be celebrating), we had the opportunity to explore Due South Brewing Co. in Boynton Beach at opening, on a Tuesday. Noon during the week isn’t the busiest of times; but that’s the way that we prefer it when we have our camera in our hands.
Bäd Ragaz Restaurant & Bar in Boynton Beach is no longer (in name, anyway). The restaurant known just as much for its huge beer selection as the food that it served has now been transformed and renamed to Lucertola Ristorante & Birreria. Billing itself as an elegant italian concept, we’re sure to see some fine italian cuisine to go with that beer selection, which is expected to stay. The former executive chef from Tramonti of Delray Beach is now in charge; leading the kitchen into its new lease on life.
Sand Bar, located on S. Ocean Blvd. in Delray Beach is an aptly named night spot that has a relaxed, college-like vibe, great nightly drink specials and a sensibly priced menu to top it off. Part of the Boston’s on the Beach group of restaurants in Delray, when the weather is right, this is one of our go-to spots to grab a drink with friends, kick off our shoes and relax.
Food News: TAP Global Beer Collection Set to Open on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Delray Marketplace in Delray Beach
We’re watching Delray Marketplace in Delray Beach expand almost every month with new and interesting food and drink establishments. This time around, beer is getting its shot at the spotlight with the official opening of TAP Global Beer Collection, located just a stone’s throw away from the IMAX cinema. Although their official launch is this coming Saturday, we were let inside for an exclusive photo tour of the bar / restaurant and its huge selection of on-tap and bottled brew.
Public House a new bar and restaurant has just opened this last weekend in Fort Lauderdale. This spot on SW 2nd Street looks to be a great spot to sit down and enjoy a few drinks (over 100 beers), a meal and the latest games on their array of televisions over the bar area (30 of them, waiting to be watched). Each night they have specials and events, so it’s worth checking out their website before you go.
Tap42 had us pleasantly surprised. It’s known for its great nightlife (especially on Wednesday night, Ladies Night), but seeing and tasting their great cuisine had us confounded. How could a craft beer bar deliver such great food, too? The answer, lies with the executive chef, Andrew Balick.
