Photo Tour: Due South Brewing Co. In Boynton Beach

Just shy of its second birthday (they opened on May 10, 2012 – and they will be celebrating), we had the opportunity to explore Due South Brewing Co. in Boynton Beach at opening, on a Tuesday. Noon during the week isn’t the busiest of times; but that’s the way that we prefer it when we have our camera in our hands.

Housed in a 15,000 square foot warehouse, Due South is proving itself to be a force to be reckoned with in the Florida craft beer market. The brewery, distribution center and tap room are all located under the same roof and as a result, those who stop by for a sample, a take-home growler or for a quick tour will be delighted to know that their beer is some of the freshest around. The 40 foot walk from the fermentation tanks to the tasting room is one of the shortest commutes that we’ve seen for a brew. Because of this, everyone benefits.

The brewery’s Tap Room opens at noon every day except for Monday, when the brewery is closed. There’s no food service, but there are food trucks from Thursday through the weekend, so those who are looking to relax for a while can enjoy their grub with their brew if they visit during those times. For those who want to hang out by the bar, there are plenty of stools. If relaxing at a table is more your thing, you can do so at any of the high tables in the bar area or the regular tables beyond. There are even a few games of Cornhole to help you pass the time.

The staff is super friendly and knowledgable about all things beer related. They have a passion, are locals like we are and enjoy sharing their creations straight from the taps mounted on the walls. Any time that we can eat or drink local and support those who support our community, we can get behind them and Due South Brewing Co. is no exception.
