In Depth Photo Tour: City Fish Market in Boca Raton
Fresh seafood, a wonderful atmosphere and an even better happy hour bar menu collide at City Fish Market in Boca Raton. For years we’ve been hitting up this spot, attached to the Hilton Boca Raton Suites, on Glades Road, and recently returned to take pictures of the restaurant and some of their delicious seafood dishes.
Every day City Fish Market has their happy hour. From 4pm – 8pm, M-F and 5pm – 8pm on weekends, diners can indulge in discounts on various drinks and food while dining at the bar. This has proven to be a popular way to try a variety of options for half the price. Perfect for starting off prior to a full meal at the table or to make it a full dining experience, this is one of our favorite spots to hit.
Beyond the restaurant, City Fish Market is also a full-fledged fish market, allowing locals to come into the restaurant and take their seafood to go. A variety of raw oysters, clams, lobster, filets and more are all available for the aspiring home chef.
The dining room is broken into a few different sections. There is the bar area with booths and high tables surrounding the U shaped bar. Beyond the bar there are formal dining areas and also a waterside outdoor dining area, perfect for a late night meal. We have also dined in their private dining are in the back of the restaurant with a large family outing and it was a secluded spot to enjoy our company.
Chef Anthony Hoff is in charge of creating and upholding the seafood heavy menu. Having worked at some of the area’s best restaurants and honing his craft, diners at City Fish Market can now enjoy a bit of that experience.
