In Photos: Rocco’s Tacos in Boca Raton
It was a sunny Wednesday afternoon when we visited Rocco’s Tacos, located in Town Center Circle’s shopping center, not far from Glades Road. Arriving at lunchtime, we had a choice to sit inside in the dark dining room or enjoy the sunshine at one of the outdoor high tables. We chose the latter and had a wonderful Mexican meal under bright blue skies.
Although Rocco’s Tacos has five locations throughout Florida, we had never been to one before. With roughly 225 varietals of Tequila and countless drink options, Rocco’s is known as a great spot to get together and have a great time. Although we were dining with the business crowd (most walking from surrounding office buildings) and not with the party crowd, the mood was subdued and the drinks, from what we could see, were not freely flowing.
Our experience, although quiet, was relaxed and the food tasted fresh and was served piping hot. The waitstaff was friendly, helpful and quick to assist when we requested. We hope to visit again on a weekend night so that we can get a true sense of the vibe and energy that the inside and outdoor bars create. Plus, we never got that table-side guacamole or the Margarita that we were craving, so that will be long overdue – and refreshing.
